Engineering insight
Use the following as an early selection reference. Specific models, datasheets and samples should be confirmed with actual structure drawings.
01
Lower force is not always better
Actuation force should be judged by product use, pressing frequency, key area and user feedback. Too light may cause accidental actuation; too heavy can reduce comfort.
02
Life requirement should match real usage
Life evaluation is more than cycle count. Press speed, temperature, humidity, dust, soldering heat shock and assembly stress should also be considered.
03
Build a parameter sheet before design-in
Before design-in, clarify dimensions, force, travel, life, mounting, packaging and document needs. Clear information makes candidate matching and sample support easier.
