Engineering insight

Use the following as an early selection reference. Specific models, datasheets and samples should be confirmed with actual structure drawings.

01

Start from mating and assembly path

Connectors are not only about pin count and pitch. The mating path between boards, wires or modules must be checked against housing space.

02

Height, tolerance and soldering stability

For compact devices, connector height, tolerance stack-up and soldering stability affect final assembly. Confirm PCB thickness, pad design and automated assembly needs.

03

Sample check is more than simple mating

At sample stage, check mating smoothness, positioning stability, post-soldering appearance, terminal retention and condition after vibration.
